PLANNED HOSPITAL BIRTH
If you prefer to have your baby in the hospital, we are happy to help you on that journey! This might be a great fit if your pregnancy is higher-risk, or you want more immediate access to the interventions that a hospital can provide.
If during your pregnancy you decide that you would like to switch your birth plan from hospital delivery to the birth center or home birth, we welcome you to do so. Please reach out if you have any concerns about late transfers to our practice or changing your birth plan late in pregnancy.
Included in Your Planned Hospital Birth Midwifery Care (Prenatal and Postpartum Care Only):
Unlimited prenatal appointments done in-office
Use of POCUS (point of care ultrasound)
Complimentary chiropractic care
Postpartum home visit
Tie evaluation
Lactation Support
Your prenatal and postpartum care is the same high-quality, relationship-centered support across all locations of birth, with the option for a midwife to come with you to the hospital acting in a doula support role. Proper prenatal care is a right, not a privilege.
We are in network with Virginia Medicaid and can provide superbills for reimbursement for all other insurance providers. Please ask for the specifics in regards to Prenatal-Only care.
Initial Consult: $50 (applied to your total care cost)
Out of pocket Planned Hospital Birth $2000
FOR MILITARY, FIRST RESPONDERS, AND CLERGY: $1500
