I’m Jeni, a licensed, certified professional midwife using evidence-based and trauma-informed care to serve the expecting families of Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Midwifery has always felt like a form of ministry to me in the truest meaning of the word: service. Every practitioner who joins The Village Midwife carries that same spirit of service, showing up with humility and dedication for the families we care for.
My work is intentionally inclusive and grounded in dignity. I’m proud to ensure that every person feels seen, respected, and supported throughout their journey.
My role is to walk alongside you—offering skilled care, steady presence, and advocacy—so you can move through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period with a strong sense of autonomy. At its core, my work is about serving families with unwavering commitment.

We invite you and your family to meet with us for a relaxed, hour-long consultation. This is a chance for us to connect, get a feel for one another, and explore whether our approach to care aligns with what you’re looking for.
We’ll walk you through our services, answer your questions, and give you space to share your hopes for your pregnancy and birth. The consultation is $50, and if you choose to begin care with us, that amount is applied toward your total midwifery fee.
