Preparing for pregnancy matters.
Our preconception visits include nutritional counseling, herbs and supplements counseling, labs, a pap smear, and hCG labs after a missed cycle.
We have extensive experience serving LGBTQ families and alternative family structures with affirming, knowledgeable care.
We believe preparation changes everything.
For families planning to birth with us, we require that you have either previously given birth or completed a comprehensive childbirth education course. Birth education equips you with a clear understanding of labor, informed consent, comfort measures, emergency protocols, and what to expect in the immediate postpartum period—allowing you to enter birth confident, grounded, and actively involved in decision-making.
You are welcome to attend our in-house childbirth education classes, or we are happy to refer you to a trusted, approved course in the community. Our goal is not to limit your options, but to ensure every client walks into birth informed, prepared, and supported.
Our in-house birthing classes discuss the signs of labor, what’s happening to your body and your baby during labor, how your team can support you, positions that help during labor and birth, what would a transfer look like in labor, how an emergency is handled, what autonomy means, how to care for yourself and your baby during those first few days, and so much more.
